I’ve just got back to New York after spending the week in Maui. Grant was there for an offsite and I decided to tag along. I had homework to do, but somehow even reading articles on online copyright was fun and relaxing when done outside by the Koi pond over breakfast….
or later that afternoon by the pool…
Of course since I am the whitest woman in the world I took sensible precautions against sunburn…
Maui was everything you’d expect from a Hawaiian paradise. There were hula girls…
…spectacular volcanic mountains…
…Palm trees and gentle, warm waves…
and picture postcard beautiful sunsets.
But it turns out, according to the hotel anyway, that danger lurks even in paradise…
I had a great time, but I’m hoping the ocean in Honolulu is friendlier when we’re there in November.
